Terms & Conditions
Please read carefully
Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Makers Art Studio. Makers Art Studio offers this website, including all information, tools and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here. By visiting our site and/ or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”, “Terms”). These Terms of Service apply to all customers of Makers Art Studio.
Marketing & Property Rights
Makers Art Studio reserves the right to use images or videos of all designs and prints for marketing purposes including Social Media, Website and all aspects of Advertising. Makers Art Studio holds complete ownership and intellectual property rights of designs and prints whether work is complete or incomplete. Makers Art Studio reserves the right to reuse concepts or unused artwork for other projects.
Copy & Images
It will remain the full responsibility of the client to supply artwork, images and copy to Makers Art Studio. Makers Art Studio take no responsibility for copyright issues regarding supplied artwork, images and copy. It is the responsibility of the client to supplying content and ideas free from infringement for all trademarks, service marks, and copyright.
Design Fee
Upon commencement of the given project fees are only quoted for professional services that will be approved or denied by the client. Design quote EXCLUDES purchases for stock photos, fonts, artwork, products, colour-matching or extra add ons after fee agreement. All additional expenses will be notified via email if added on during the process or will be itemised on final invoice..
Invoices
Invoices and quotes issued by Makers Art Studio will be valid for up to 7 days. Makers Art Studio reserves the right to adjust prices once the expiry period has passed on any quotation.
Payment
Makers Art Studio requires a full payment upfront before any work commences to secure orders and schedule deadlines for designs. Payments can be made via credit card or bank transfer. If the client preferres a different payment method it will have to be agreed upon directly with Makers Art Studio. Please include your invoice number as payment description when arranging the amount via bank transfer and send us a copy of the proof of payment to hellomakersart@gmail.com. It will allow us to escalate the process as sometimes the banks take a few days for transactions to take place between banks.
Service or Price Modifications
Prices of our products and services are subject to change without notice.
Refunds
Makers Art does not offer refunds under any circumstances. If the client wishes to cancel or hold their order after quotation, approval and payment, a credit note will be issued until a new agreed upon date. (Up to 90 days from payment)
Project Time Frames
Custom Design total timeframes vary. We will always aim to work towards the requested timeframe depending on your responsiveness throughout the process. If a project is required to be completed to a tight deadlines a rush fees may be necessary to place your job on priority. There is a 8 weeks expiry time limit on designs that are postponed to a later date from date of payment. If designs are not completed after this time frame due to clients lack of communication, designs will expire and need to be repurchased. Makers Art does not refund or exchange any work, it will unfortunately counted as money lost by the client. But to prevent this from happening, ensure to respond promptly to emails sent by Makers Art as we do not take responsibility for this.
Rush Orders
A rush fee will be charged if you for urgent orders, considering the size of job and date required. Email hellomakersart@gmail and we will do our best to meet your time frame. The rush order fee will be charged and proof of payment needs to be confirmed before the job is put on priority.
Electronic Proof
All proofs will be emailed to the client as a low resolution files. Monitors may display colour differently (RGB) and the colour on a monitor varies significantly from the final print (CMYK). Therefore, it is highly recommended that the client provides the Pantone colour or requests a colour-matching service if neccessary.
Logo Colour
Logos will be sent in a choice of one colour and black/white. Watermarks and highlight covers include one colour choice only. To have the option of 2 or more colour choices an extra fee will apply.
File Types
Typically all designs will be sent as PDFs and PNG's (JPEG if requested). Graphic designs will vary between PNG, JPEG and PDFs. For any other special requested files (like working files) extra fees apply.
How your work will be stored
Original files will be kept for 12 months, however it is the client’s responsibility to store and archive the documents safely for their own purposes or future use when final design files have been sent. Makers Art is not responsible for sending lost or misplaced files.
Revisions
Each design package has a set number of design options and revisions. There will incur additional charges if further revisions are required. The client will need to approve additional charges for extra design revisions and make payment in full prior to work commencing on the additional revisions. Makers Art will not be held responsible for revisions after final files are sent to the client.

It remains the responsibility of the client to ask when additional fees apply if exceeding the amount of revisions for your designs with Makers Art.
Approvals
Makers Art will take no responsibility for errors after final approval by the client. Approvals must be corresponded via email to Makers Art before printing is commenced.
Errors and Omissions
It is the client’s responsibility to check all proofs for accuracy. Approval is acknowledgement that the proof has been evaluated and considered correct in every aspect. There will be no remedy from Makers Art for errors or omissions carried over from approved proof to final print.
Printing
1. PAYMENT & PROOF
Changes cannot be made once final approval has been given. Any changes or cancellations after final approval will incur additional charges. In the instance that Makers Art is required for printing deliverables, full payment for printing is required.
2. FULL-COLOUR PRINTING
Colours differ from screen to the printed product. There are many aspects that can lead to colour differences. There won't be a refund and reprints at the expense of Makers Art for colour variations in the full-colour printing process.
3. PRINT ERRORS AND QUALITY ISSUES
Whilst all care is taken when printing, all third party printing errors and quality issues will be an issue of the third party and not Makers Art after the final approval is confirmed by the client. It is the client's responsibility to request a sample pack to assess the quality themselves.
We are happy to act on your behalf with the third party print company about any given issues, however we cannot garauntee that issues will get resolved without further costs. Makers Art takes no responsibility to these extra costs.
4. PRINTING TURNAROUND
Standard printing turnaround is 7-10 business days (estimated) plus delivery. Rush printing turnaround is 5 - 7 business days (estimated) + delivery. High quality business cards and additional printing options such as foiling, spot gloss, letterpress and square business cards may have an extended timeframe as these processes take longer to produce. Generally 2-3 weeks from approval of design. This delivery timeframe only begins once we have received FINAL proof.
International orders
Extra charges such as Import duties, taxes, and charges are NOT included in the item price or shipping cost and is the client's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be before bidding or buying.
Changes to terms of service
We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of the Terms of Service by posting updates and changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check our website periodically for changes. Your continued use of access to our website or the Service following the posting of any changes to these Terms of Service constitutes acceptance of those changes.
